Bedouin Camp

محمية وادي رم، Wadi Rum Village, Jordan - View Meeting Point on Map

Our Bedouin Camp

The camp lies 4 kilometers from Wadi Rum village, about a 20 minute drive, lying against red rocks in the heart of the protected desert, and surrounded by magnificent vistas on all sides of both incredible rock formations and wide open desert plains.

The camp is situated by a small hill that is the perfect location to witness spectacular sunrise and sunsets. The perfect place to meditate on the vast expanse that lies in front of you.

It’s simple, authentic, and comfortable - boasting colorful traditional tents made from goat hair. The camp is equipped with a kitchen, toilets, and hot water showers powered by solar energy.

Where You'll Sleep

Tents for Two or Group Tents

We have nine traditional Bedouin tents that can host a range of two to six people. These waterproof tents are furnished with single beds, including comfortable mattresses, blankets, pillows, and ceiling. lights.

If you would prefer to setup a bed outside to sleep under the stars, this can also be arranged. This is a great way to experience the starry night sky while still enjoying all of the comforts of camp.

Shared Facilities

Communal Tent

A large tent with carpets, incense, and a roaring fire serves as a communal area where we serve breakfast, dinner, and refreshments.

On warmer nights the fire is relocated to a fire-pit outside, surrounded by a wall to sit and watch the flames flicker in the desert darkness. The camp has electricity and limited wifi as well.

Shared Bathroom

The shared bathroom at the camp has Western toilets, with a cold and hot water shower powered by solar heating. We rely on water delivery to our camp, so the supply is limited. Please remember to bring your own towel!
